CASE STUDY
To celebrate its 30 year anniversary, the Birch Contemporary Gallery wanted to combine the founder's two passions for art and motorcycles into a four day event unlike any other.
We worked together with the Birch Contemporary to produce an exhibit that featured works of art from leading contemporary artists and handbuild motorcycles from renown builders, curated from galleries and private collections around the world. The exhibit's had over over 500 guests on its opening night and ultimately produced the busiest weekend in the gallery's 30-years of operation.

Messaging
Getting the word out, in the right way, to the right people was vital for a new event.
Via targeted email and social campaigns we connected with members of the media, art collectors, industry, key influencers, and the Gallery’s customers, resulting in a shoulder-to-shoulder opening night.
Results
Artists and art lovers mixed with professionals, members of the motorcycle community, and casual passerby’s to take in this exhibit in what ended up being the busiest, most visited exhibit during the Birch Contemporary's 30 year history.

Fast Forward
Gallery Exhibit
Some custom motorcycles are works of art and deserve to be showcased as such.
The first of its kind in Canada, the Fast Forward exhibit brought the world of fine art and motorcycles together, showcasing incredible examples of motorcycle style and craftsmanship alongside art from leading contemporary artists.
BRAND CHALLENGE
WHAT WE DID
Event Production
Forget the typical bike show with its cold fluorescent convention centre lighting and gaudy, neon-lit motorcycles, the Fast Forward exhibit was designed from the start to mix two traditionally separate worlds, and expose the beauty of each in a unique setting.
We worked together with the Birch Contemporary to design and curate a gallery exhibit that featured works of contemporary art from world-renown artists such as Richard Prince, Robert Mapplethorpe, James Lahey sourced from other galleries and private collections.
Juxtaposed against the art, we placed exceptional motorcycles handcrafted by builders from Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.
